HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We recognize that every partner has unique needs. Therefore, we employ a flexible pricing model designed to best meet our partners’ goals. We recommend setting up a meeting or calling 877.861.2230 and speaking with one of our account executives to discuss options and review your specific requirements.
WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR POPULATING THE PLAYLIST?
Playlists can be selected manually, editorially, or semantically using our recommendation engine.
WHAT LAYOUT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE NTENT WIDGET?
NTENT provides a variety of customizable widget templates that can be tailored to match the look and feel of your website (branding, colors, logo, positioning, size, etc.).
When selecting the size of your player it’s important to consider your user experience and monetization goals. If you are looking to provide a rich experience, a larger player is optimal. If you are looking to maximize monetization, make sure your player is not too small, as it will be excluded from many of today’s video advertising campaigns.
DOES THE WIDGET SUPPORT 3RD PARTY ANALYTICS AND TRACKING?
Yes, our widgets offer a simple way for you to track events throughout the process of page load, widget rendering, ad start, ad completion, engagement, content start, and content completion.
WILL THE NTENT VIDEO WIDGET SLOW DOWN MY SITE?
No, the NTENT widgets load independent from your page.
CAN I USE THE NTENT VIDEO WIDGETS IF I AM ALREADY USING OTHER VENDORS?
Yes, NTENT video widgets do not interfere with your existing partnerships.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR CUSTOMIZING WIDGETS?
Select the unit that best complements the layout of your site from our Widget Gallery. Then, work with your account manager to further customize your unit utilizing our proprietary modular rendering engine for styles, scripts, and templates.
WHAT WIDGETS ARE THE BEST FOR MOBILE DEVICES?
All of our widgets are configured to be responsive. This means that the look and feel, including the size, will adjust for the screen size. For this reason, we recommend selecting a widget based on the overall mobile experience you provide your consumers.
If the site is a feed, we recommend inline players that provide thumbnail options. If your site does not have a mobile version, select a widget that best complements your desktop experience. The fastest way to incorporate video into your mobile experience is to use the basic or inline players.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF VIDEOS THAT CAN BE INCLUDED IN A PLAYLIST?
There is no limit to the number of videos in a playlist. However, we recommended that you keep the playlist under 20 videos for optimal performance.
DOES THE WIDGET INTEGRATE WITH OTHER CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND ADVERTISING SYSTEMS?
Our platform supports mRSS URL and any VAST tags. We recommended using mRSS or VAST tags sourced from NTENT’s video platform, so that our technology can properly collect analytics, optimize content, and advertising.
DOES THE PLAYER SUPPORT ADVERTISING?
NTENT’s video platform enables you to run third-party and first-party campaigns on your existing video players.
WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL AND INTEGRATION SPECIFICATIONS?
WHERE SHOULD THE WIDGET CODE BE PLACED?
For widgets that are floating around corners and edges (i.e sidebar, sidewalk), the code should be placed right above the end body tag </body>. For widgets that are inline, it should be placed where the widget will be loading. WordPress users will place the code on the corresponding WP template.
WHAT TYPE OF FILES CAN BE UPLOADED?
The most common formats used today are supported. This includes: MP4 (mp4, m4a, m4v, f4v, f4a, m4b, m4r, f4b, mov), H.264, MPEG-4, VP6 and VP8. Our recommendation is to upload the most original asset you have available.
